Our long-term vision spans youth development, family support, community connection, and more stable living environments. These are planned directions—not a list of services currently available. We intend to develop each program in response to community input, organizational readiness, and the resources and approvals needed to operate responsibly.
BTS is the community-support pathway of our shared trauma-informed mission. Our programs remain in development. Explore the three pathways.
Proposed first program priority
Beyond After School
Status: In development; not enrolling.
A planned after-school model bringing together learning support, tutoring, mentoring, relationship-building, and age-appropriate opportunities to practice emotional regulation and communication. The goal is a welcoming environment where young people can learn, connect, and build confidence with consistent adult support.
Next development step: identify an appropriate host partnership, define the initial age range and scope, and establish staffing, safeguarding, funding, and evaluation plans. No partner, location, age range, capacity, funding, or launch date is currently confirmed.
Future youth and teen community centers
Beyond Drop-In
Status: Planned future phase; not operating.
Our vision includes youth and teen spaces that combine connection and constructive activities with tutoring, mentoring, and help navigating community resources. We envision coordination with qualified partners for social services and other specialized support, rather than promising that every service will be provided onsite by BTS staff.
Next development step: community consultation, service-partner development, and assessment of the staffing and operating model required for consistent, safe access. This is not a walk-in service, clinical service, emergency shelter, 24-hour program, or currently established wraparound network.
Family and community support
Beyond Together
Status: Planned programming; not currently scheduled.
We envision opportunities for caregivers and families to strengthen connection, access practical education, and better understand available community resources. This program family may include caregiver learning, family engagement, resource-navigation partnerships, and community-building activities as capacity develops.
Next development step: refine priorities with families and prospective community partners. No workshop calendar or referral pathway is currently available.
Long-term housing and family-stability vision
Beyond Home
Status: Long-term vision; no housing applications or placements available.
Our long-term vision includes trauma-informed foster homes or appropriate residential partnerships, as well as affordable housing with onsite child care and connections to family support. These are separate development workstreams, each requiring its own feasibility assessment, qualified partners, funding, staffing, and applicable approvals.
BTS is not currently operating foster homes, accepting placements, providing housing units, or offering child care. We will share specific plans only as the necessary partnerships and operating foundations are established.
How we plan to grow
Now: program design, readiness planning, and relationship development.
First proposed launch: a carefully scoped, partner-hosted youth/family pilot after readiness conditions are met.
Later expansion: additional after-school, family, and teen/drop-in programming based on resources and learning.
Long-term development: residential and affordable-housing workstreams with appropriate specialist partners and approvals.
Our intended practice standard
Every future BTS program is intended to implement NTITC's S.T.R.O.N.G.™ framework and S.T.O.P.™ and L.E.A.D.™ practice tools, with role-appropriate training, documented implementation, implementation review, and program-level certification as intended launch requirements. No program described here is represented as already certified.
